Tactra Support

Tactra is available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac. For setup questions, unexpected device behavior, or purchase support, start with the checks below and then contact us with the details that help us reproduce the issue.

Before contacting support

  1. Confirm that the Apple device running Tactra can reach your Home Assistant URL.
  2. In Home Assistant, verify that the affected media_player or remote entity is available and responds to the same action.
  3. Reopen Tactra and allow a moment for Home Assistant state to reconnect.
  4. Check that Remote Target, Audio Target, and Playback Target point to the devices you intended.
  5. If a direct endpoint fails, switch routing to Home Assistant and try the action again.

Helpful details

Include the following when possible:

  • Tactra version and Apple platform version.
  • Device model: iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Mac.
  • Home Assistant version and connection type: local URL, remote URL, or Home Assistant Cloud.
  • The kind of entity or equipment involved, such as TV, AVR, speaker, streamer, or console.
  • The action you expected and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot or a short diagnostic excerpt with private details removed.

Keep credentials private

Do not send Home Assistant access tokens, refresh tokens, passwords, private keys, full diagnostic exports, or private network credentials. Remove server hostnames, entity IDs, room names, and media titles if you do not want them included in a public support discussion.
