Does Tactra fit your setup?
Tactra controls devices through Home Assistant. What you can do depends on the integration and the capabilities it exposes, not just the brand printed on the equipment.
Check the actions you use
Open the device in Home Assistant and try the controls that matter to you. A visible device does not necessarily support every action.

Tactra hides or disables unsupported controls. Some integrations expose different capabilities while a device is off, idle, or playing. Wake-on-LAN, HDMI-CEC, and source names depend on your equipment and Home Assistant configuration.
A TV and receiver can work together
Set the receiver or soundbar as Audio Target and the TV or streamer as Remote Target. Set Playback Target to the device actually playing the content. These roles can point to different devices in the same Media System.

Apple devices and network access
- iPhone: iOS 17 or later.
- iPad: iPadOS 17 or later.
- Mac: macOS 14 or later.
- Apple Watch: watchOS 10 or later, with Tactra on the paired iPhone. Commands depend on the iPhone connection.
Your Apple device must reach your Home Assistant server. Away from home, use a secure remote connection you have already configured for Home Assistant. Tactra does not create remote access to your network. Optional direct local endpoints require access to their local network.
Purchase and device support
The Tactra purchase includes Home Assistant media control across its Apple app surfaces, without a subscription. The App Store displays regional pricing. Check any separately offered direct-provider purchase in the app before buying it; a direct route does not guarantee support for every command or model.
If you are unsure, contact support with the equipment model, Home Assistant integration, and action you need. Do not send access tokens or private server details.
